Immortal Light

Immortal Light has taken on many forms over the last several years. It has been a gathering place, an informative site, and now it is our artistic vision as well.

Pyrography is the art of fire writing, or more commonly known as woodburning. It is a unique art form that has roots in many ancient cultures, such as the Celts, Mayans, Native Americans, Gypsies, and many more. It's magickal implications are very strong as it fully incorporates the two elements of earth and Fire, as well as indirectly utilizes the elements of water and air.

There are very few artists in the US that specialize in this form of art, and even fewer that offer it to the Pagan community. What seperates IL from the handful of others? For one, there is no mass production involved! We do not keep creating the same pieces over and over again. We will recreate most of our items at request, but try specifically to keep each piece unique and different. This is the only way to insure YOU get something that is truely one-of-a-kind. Secondly, we don't do this to pay the bills. This is very important to us. Our art is made for the love of the art and the spiritual satisfaction we get out of it. We are not trying to get rich, and this is why we focus more on custom orders than anything else. Lastly, the quality of work is our biggest advantage. Because we aren't in this pay the bills, we don't have to rush our work. We are able to devote as much time as needed to get our items perfect. We believe there is something to the old saying "Quality over Quantity".
